Lotus
Symphony - an office suite, made of on the basis of OpenOffice and
Eclipse Rich Client Platform. Lotus Symphony has a redesigned user
interface, ability to share and collaborate on documents, contains the
text editor, spreadsheets, presentations, built-in Web browser.
Supports MS Office formats and ODF.
System requirements:
* Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7, SLED 11, RHEL 5 Update 4, Ubuntu 8.04, Macintosh OS X 10.5, 10.6.2;
* 1 GHz processor or faster, 512 MB RAM or more.
Compared
with the previous version of Lotus Symphony made more than a hundred
important improvements. The most interesting innovations:
* Support for VBA-scripts;
* Support for ODF 1.2;
* Support for OLE-Object Office 2007;

Completely redesigned the side toolbar, which contains an expanded set
of sections and panels, which supports flexible means of setting the
contents;
* Support customize the content and format of the toolbar;
* Ability to create new business cards and labels;
* Ability to integrate into your document OLE-objects, audio and video files;

Supports Live Text, allows to recognize typical patterns in the text
and to perform certain actions with the text (for example, to specify
the address on a map output data from the address book, etc.);

Dropped support capabilities, previously available in version 1.3:
import SmartSuite-files, support Freehand-table, preview the
presentation before printing, you can create documents XForm-Connector
